Valerie I love your videos, your personality brightens the day. I agree we need a good slip conditioner. I have another great slip mix! I get organic banana powder from Amazon it can be used for smooties too, and I mix it with organic honey. Girl, what a slip conditioner and it’s natural and healthy. I have blended fresh ripe banana too which might be even better for slip. A good mix is also mayo, avacado and honey. Honey is amazing for hair moisture.

I don’t use anything expensive to detangle my hair. I go in with the Aussie coconut curls co-wash. It can be hard to find this product (I got it at a Harmon’s) but the ingredients are pretty much identical to their coconut curls conditioner, which is at Target. Best slip, even after using a drying shampoo like Olaplex. A little water and a few pumps per section is all i need to fully detangle 4a thick hair in 10 minutes. I don’t let the product actually sit on my hair though, it gets rinsed out immediately and then i actually massage in my good conditioners with better ingredients. 16 fl oz is like 3 bucks
Aussie used to be amazing but they switched up the formula and it’s crap now. OGX coconut miracle oil conditioner (not confused with the coconut curls conditioner) has the best slip I feel like you can find in a less expensive product. I was very surprised to not see it on this list you should check it out it’s great, I just wish it came in a bigger bottle option. I feel like it works better than devacurl.
Interesting I generally use only silicone free natural conditioners but this was good to see.
I actually like the tres semmé moisture rich conditioner as well as ors replenishing conditioner!
I felt the same about the Aussie not buying it again
Try Tresemme Moisture Rich. It’s amazing, and affordable.
The vo5 one is drying obviously because it’s a clarify conditioner, try their strawberry and cream
